| Hi, I want to get a Roomba but am worried my sunken living room may add some complications. My rationale for getting the Roomba is I can just press a button before I leave for work and voila the house will be vacuumed when I come home, except of course for minor cleanup where the Roomba can't clean. But if it can't clean the sunken living room (due to 8+ inch drop) this could be somewhat of a hassle. So what is the solution? Should I clean it separately on a different day? With this confuse the Roomba, e.g. does it "remember" the rooms it cleans? |

| Roomba can't go up/down stairs so it sounds like you'll have to do the sunken part separately. |

No confusion will arise, it doesn't need to remember anything between cleans. Just do it at other times, e.g. just after you get home, or whatever. |
