Hello,
I just bought my Roomba for a Christmas present for my mother - in- law. The feature that attracted me was that it went back to its docking station when done, Mine won't unless I pick it up, point it at its home base and do it manually. Any one else having that trouble?? I e-mailed customer support but haven't heard back yet.

Sorry to hear that Joanne.
Your best bet is to call iRobot at 1-877-855-8593. (Hours of operation are M-F, 9am - 7pm ET & Saturday 9am - 6pm ET. )
They will do some quick troubleshooting with you and if the problem can't be resolved over the phone they will most likely send you a replacement.

| I have heard that there are conditions where Roomba can not "see" the IR signal from the home base, when there are other bright IR sources in the area. Does it work if you set it up in another room? If so, it may help to change the placement of the home base, so the base and the other IR emitter aren't close to each other... Just a thought. |
