roomba furniture damage

does the roomba damage stuff from bumping into it?

I just bought one and worried about the same thing. I did notice that the plastice/rubber used for the bumber It's just like the plastic on the front of a normal vacuum. And besides the roomba's touch switches are pretty sensitive, mine bounced off of one of those thick hiking wool socks.

This material will scratch easily, however, your furniture is much more scratch endurant. Unless of course it is constructed of a soft kind of plastic, perhaps ABS. :-)
