| Hi, I just got my roomba discovery the other day. It seems to do a great job on the hard wood floors but on my low pile carpet it cant pick up pet hair. Even small fuzz on the carpet the roomba seems unable to pick it up. Also, according to the review on this website it should have no problems picking up pet hair and such. Could I have a faulty unit? |

Could be. If you can, try to feel underneath the unit when it's running on carpet and see if the brushes are spinning.
If they aren't then yes, you have a defective unit.

Yes it appears that the brushes have stopped spinning for some reason. I took off the dust bin and set it to clean. The removal of the dust bin shouldn't stop the brushes from spinning would it?
The thing was working yesterday just fine, I wonder what could have caused this. Anyone have a suggestion? |
