| I have had my rooomba for a little over a year now and it has been fine up until now. for some reason it just wants to run in a circle. we have cleaned it good and the rubber is on the wheels allright so what can the problem be. I am in a wheel chair andi really need this machine to help with my housework. |

Sounds like an original Roomba. Those were actually much more prone to problems then the new Discovery series. First, try cleaning the four cliff sensors on the bottom with a Q-Tip and alcohol. If that does not work, then try this from the iRobot website so we can see if its broken:
Roomba only rotates in circles around a single wheel every time it's turned on.
Rotate the two Drive Wheels by hand. Under normal conditions, the Wheels should offer some resistance as they spin. You may have a defective unit if either of the following happens:
A Wheel is very difficult to spin by hand, or may even be impossible to rotate.
A Wheel will offer very little resistance when spun by hand, and may even rotate freely. |

| WELL I TRIED EVERYTHING THAT EVERYONE SAID AND THEN I CALLED THE TECH SUPPORT. THEY SAID THAT IT SOUNDED TO THEM AS IF ONE OF THE MOTORS THAT CONTROLS ONE OF THE WHEELS HAD BURNT OUT. THEY ARE SENDING ME A NEW ONE FREE OF CHARGE. NOW THATS REAL SERVICE AS MY GUARANTEE IS OUT. THINK I WILL BUY A SECOND ONE FOR A BACK UP SINCE THIS COMPANY IS SO GOOD. |
