Nothing in dirt collection cup!

:( We get dirt in the filter to be cleaned but nothing ever collects in the dirt collection cup. Found a little yellow square plastic piece nearby. Think it has anything to do with the problem? Don't know if it fits on the unit somewhere.

see if that little yellow piece goes on the end of one of the brushes.
each brush should have a yellow piece on one end. without it, the brush may not be rotating to help place dirt into the bin.

Thanks! Yes the yellow square piece snapped onto the end of the brush, and it fit onto the Roomba. But I only have one yellow piece. Can I get another? Do I need another?

there should be 2 yellow pieces. one for the small brush and one for the large brush.

do you have 2 ?

are the brushes turning ?

run it without the dirt bin for a few seconds, this way you can see the brushes.

if you need one yellow piece, i am certain irobot can get it to you pronto.

By the way, when cleaning the brushes you should ALWAYS remove those yellow pieces and remove all the hair wrapped around the axles. I think many people don't do this and it may be causing the gears to strip (it certainly does not help any).
