Rather than replacing our upright, my wife and I bought a Roomba Red just before Christmas. It has worked very well and collected more pet hair and filth than I'd like to admit. We've been good about keeping it cleaned out and have been very pleased with the results. :D
Day before yesterday though something bad happened. After a full run, while charging, rather than the normal heartbeat pulse light it seemed to flicker and dim unexpectedly when brightening. I checked in on Roomba the next morning and the battery appears to be totally dead and the AC adaptor doesn't light up. Checked outlet, battery seated, leads all okay.
My suspsicion is that the AC cord is burnt.
I miss my Roomba and there is vacuuming to be done. Is there an easy fix for this (aka does Radio Shack have a cord I can use?) or do I need to jump through the tech support hoopla? :?:
Thanks in advance!
