Hi,
I got the Roomba Classic about a year and a half ago. I used it regularly for about 4 months and then put it away. When I broke it out to use again, it charged and did an entire room. Now, however, it doesn't seem to hold a charge at all  . When I charge it overnight, it turns on, begins to run, but after about 15 seconds the red light comes on by the battery and it plays the durge. duh-da-da-duh. and she shuts off :( .
I think it's likely the battery, but what bugs me is that it ran a full cycle and now I get bubkus. So what do you all think? Am I golden with a new battery, or am I missing something else?
Thanks,
Bill |

The batteries in the original models were notorious for problems like this. Best bet is to call iRobot and see if they will send you a replacement battery.
If you are out of warranty they may not. The old model will work with the new yellow APS battery, so if you get one of those it should resolve your problem. |
