My roomba recently started moving about 1-2 feet forward with a slight curve, then turns in circles, stops, turns in circles, stops, etc a few times and then I get uh ho beep beep beep beep.
I already have my replacement ordered but I'd like to try and fix it, I tested all clif sensors and they're fine, I checked the optical rotary encoders in the wheels, they seem fine but I don't know how to test to be sure.
Does anyone know where I should be looking for this issue?
It's a Roomba Discovery (the white and gray model).

mine did this before and it was trapped hair/dirt in the single nose wheel.
the dirt was really trapped in between the wheel itself and the housing.
i dug it out and cleaned it up and all has worked well since.
hope this helps. |
