The dirt sensor of my discovery se never turns on, or at least I have never seen it turning on. May it be a problem? What can I do to test it indeed? Thx in advance...

You could toss some dry coffee grounds in a small area on a hard surface floor...

Yeah, the Dirt sensor doesn't really detect dirt, it "hears" when your picking up something that makes noise.

Try coffee, cereal, or something big enough to make noise. You'll see it for sure then!

I have tried with cereals, and the blue light turned on :)... thx a lot
