Just got a Roomba Discovery this week at Linens & Things, and so far I'm loving it!! :D
One question. When I hit clean, it goes about and does it's thing but sometimes it runs for 30 minutes and sometimes it runs for over an hour before it returns back to it's home to recharge.
What does it use to detetmine how long it runs? Can I set it to run for just 30 minutes or an hour or am I at the whim of my little robot? :lol:

clean just cleans the room then returns to base. roomba determines the size of the room and the lenght of the cleaning cycle.
max runs until the battery gets low - almost 2 hours - then finds the charger. |

| That's not what I found at all. In clean mode, it returned to the charger. In max mode, it just ran until the battery was dead. |
