Hi,
I bought a new Roomba Discovery. The second time I used it, after about 20 mins of cleaning it showed a flashing red on the power button and a flashing red on the status button. The battery was fully charged for days before the second use.
Now, even if I charge it for 8 hours, it starts then runs for about 10 seconds (starts, spins up moves forward shuts down) and brings up the same red light on status and flashing red on the power button.
I have thoroughly cleaned the unit. Also, if I remove the battery and reinsert it, the lights turn green, but it only runs for 10 seconds before shutting off.
Any idea what is wrong. I bought this unit less than a week ago.

| It could be the charger, the Roomba, or the battery. Impossible to tell for sure. I would exchange your Roomba for a new one. |
