The treads on my Roomba self-destructed in no time.
This is the email I sent to
roomba-support@irobot.com:

"Have used my Roomba about 25 times, and already the treads have failed. One cracked completely, the other is mostly cracked.
I pampered my Roomba. This should not have happened.
I understand from the Roomba forum that this is a very common problem, and has frustrated loads of people. Some folks said you sent replacement treads within a week, to cover the design flaw of an earlier generation Roomba model."

I received the replacements today, at no charge. This seems to be the ONLY way to get the parts. They have been redesigned due to design flaws in the earlier models. I suggest you try this if you suffered the same fate as I.
