I have a dog. I cleaned and then ran my little machine. I noticed that it was running a little sluggish and decided to check it out. Looked and looked and found hair wrapped around the yellow bearing on the main brush and found that the yellow piece had actually melted a little bit. Can I get this replaced? Have them send me a new one or what. I have a Discovery.

Just call iRobot at 1-877-855-8593. They will send you a replacement free of charge.

In the future, make sure to clean the fur out from under the bearing more often, and don't forget to unscrew the sidebrush and clean under there as well.

Yes, that happened to me. Although the bearing still seems to work fine (only a small amount of the plastic on it came off) I now make sure to clean the hair out more frequently.
