Has anyone had any luck getting a roomba to work on a 20V DC adapter? I'm looking to buy a second hand laptop power supply, because there switch mode, and can supply the current easily. Unforchantly there not readly avaliable at 22V, but I can get a lot of 2OV ones? the Q is will it work?

Or will a 24V adapter kill it?

You can best get an adjustable power supply used for laptops. Then you can get the 22VDC needed precisely. I would not take too much risk here.
