I have a golden retriever who lives inside and sheds ALOT!!!!! Do you have any issues with pet hair clogging the roomba? I currently use a cordless "shark" vacuum and have to empty the tray out sometimes twice while vacuuming my kitchen tile and living room hardwood floors. I do vacuum every other day. Of course, my husbands solution is put the dog outside, but I would never!!! HELP!

No, it handles pet hair fine as long as you clean it's brushes frequently enough. I have two large dogs with long hair and I usually need to clean it after every two uses on Max mode. You could probably get by with cleaning it every three to four uses since you only have one dog. The new Discovery series Roomba's are very easy to clean so it's not a big deal. I can clean mine in about five minutes. :D Also, it should be emptied after every use although the bin is very large; I really can't imagine it filling up in one run unless you have an obscene amount of stuff on the floor. 8)

I've had my Roomba Red (named Roger) for a little under 2 weeks now and he's running like a dream. Even with two cats, one very long haired dog, and another that sheds non-stop (I seriously mean NON-STOP).

I personally have not vaccuumed in 3 weeks and my house is cleaner now than it has been since the day we moved in.

To give you an idea of the dog hair problem in my house, we painted my youngest childs bedroom Saturday. After we were done Roger vaccumed and then we mopped the hardwood floors, we then put all the furniture back. On Monday (2 days later) I sent Roger in there, when he was done the dustbin was literally FULL of dog hair.
