Hi all,
Im awaiting the arrival of my new Roomba Red and just came across this great website.
It seems that A LOT of people have A LOT of problems with their Roombas. I'm hoping that the people with all these problems are in the minority but just post a lot with their problems! :P
Can anyone please give me some reassurance! :D

Someone once mentioned that at first glance it might appear that the Roomba is ALWAYS breaking if you read all of the messages posted here. But the fact is that the majority of people who own a Roomba and have no problems usually won't come here at all, and even if they do they don't post anything.
I have owned a Roomba Red since Christmas and I use it every day. No problems at all!! :) (fingers crossed) |

I went through 3 of the pro elites a while back and finally gave up. When the Red came out I did some research and some reading and it seemed to have a better track record.
Its worked perfect for two months now... With the pro elite I went through 3 in that time.
It doesnt seem to pick up quite as well on the first pass as the pro elite did, but because of its repitition it does just as good a job in the long run, and it hasnt broke....
So I give this one a thumbs up! |

Got my regular Discover in October, used it frequently ever since on medium-thick pile carpet etc., no worries. Careful cleaning is all, especially if you have pets or much long hair... |
