Even though it's not an 2.1, 20% off $269 for the SE off from skymall sounds good to me, especially when you throw in a lifetime guarantee.
I called Skymall and they said the 20% off is good until the 19th, but the web site says it ends tonight at midnight so I'm probably going to order it tonight.
The question I have is how well does the Roomba SE transistion from tile to higher carpet? I have a 1/2"inch difference betwen my tile and carpet.
Can it handle this much difference?

I called both Hammacher Schlemmer and Skymall and they both told me that there is a lifetime warranty on the deal that they have on the SE. It is really from Hammacher Schlemmer and so they will honor the guarantee. If you have a problem you call Skymall and they notify HS, but the phone person at HS said to me, if you have any trouble you can call them directly also.
