I have recently ordered discovery se, but there is all this hype about 2.1 model and people are talking about upgrading software on their older models. Is it a wishful thinking or irobot really upgrades older models and has anyone done this?

as of now there are no upgrades... irobot stated that the port on your roomba is for seller end use, not for the purchaser.
maybe in the future this port will be utilzed, but as of no, its useless. |
