| ok, so basically I don't care for anyone to respond to this unless its someone who actually knows what you are talking about. we have had a few people, who say they called irobot, say that the scheduler doesn't have the 2.1 upgrades, and also we have had people who say they called irobot, say that the scheduler does have the 2.1 upgrades, so does it or not? Everyone seems to want to know, but everyone who is giving answers is just blabbing what they think they know, or supposidly what they heard, yet people 'heard' oppsite things from the same company? |

I emailed irobot about both hardware and software differences and this is the response i recieved.
Dear Rob,
Thank you for writing!
We appreciate your interest in our newest products! Yes, the enhancements and upgrades in the 2.1 are present in the new Scheduler Roomba. Please let me know if I can assist you further, and have a great day!

Well, virtually all people who have emailed iRobot about this issue have received a response stating that the Scheduler will have the 2.1 updates. I believe I read *one* post by someone who talked to someone at iRobot and this person said the Scheduler will not have the 2.1 updates. This person at iRobot was probably new and was simply misinformed.
The Roomba 2.1 simply has the new "Aware" software update, which will be put in all current Roomba's according to this link from iRobot: http://irobot.com/consumer/roomba_technology.cfm
Watch the video demonstrating the Aware algorithm, it's the same one they showed on HSN for the Roomba 2.1. Can we please let this issue rest now? :? |

| T'was I that received the incorrect information from IRobot. And yes, we can let the issue die (Until IRobot gives me more incorrect information). |

I received my final e-mail from IRobot. She has confirmed that I received incorrect information from the person I called at IRobot.
That being said, Scheduler is 2.1. Issue is really dead. |
