I sent a reply to a message this afternoon (UK time) and was wondering why I hadn't received a reply yet.
When I check it's still in my Outbox and not in my Sentbox - that was 4 or 5 hours ago, how long does it take to send a message? |

It's still in the Outbox this morning - this is most upsetting!
How do I get a message to the system admin to get this resolved? |

The message is sent instantly. It's in your outbox because the person that you sent it to hasn't opened it yet - but rest assured that it is available for them to open as soon as they return to the site to read it. By keeping it in your outbox, you have the option of deleting or editing the message until the person that you sent it to actually opens the message. Once the recipient opens the message, it will move to your sentbox.
Hope this helps!

Thanks Craig,
I was misunderstanding and thinking it was like Outlook in that while it's in the Outbox it's not gone!!!!!!
Now I understand I'm quite happy. :D |

| Yeah it is a nice system. And as much as I despise AOL I should point out that they too have that type of system set up for their e-mail users  |
