hi, sorry for my bad english
i'm from Italy and i've just buy a ROOMBA CALSSIC SILVER on e-bay (used).
Roomba seems to do a good works!!!
2 or 3 questions on it:
- someone has an italian owner manual for this model?
- on english manual i see advise for "rapid charger - recharge battery pack in about 2.5 hours- part #02004) does anyone know here i can find it (220 v)???
ANYWAY, my charger is a standard 24V DC 500mA. Is it possible to fast charge the classic roomba siver model with a charger?
-side brush: are the new one (with 3 brush) usable on a classic silver roomba???
thank you for your answres,
Matteo, Florence. |

Not sure it covers your model ... but seems the only international manual out there.
Or you could write to Roomba Italy ( www.irobot.it ) asking if they've the Italian specific manual of your model.

Always on the irobot.it site you'll have the reseller list, for example this one:
http://www.roombashop.it or http://www.roomba.it/index.aspx
You could try to ask them.
As usual European price bloody expensive compared to US ones .. :-(

I've do it before write here. They've answer that they don't have distrubuted this model, so they don't have any italian manual.

Hi there, I suspect that your Roomba is one of the original ones.
Can you post the ebay item number so that we can look and be 100% sure which model it is? |

I've got one of the Rapid Chargers for the 4xxx series Roombas - the batteries look the same from the picture - maybe someone who has experience of both can confirm?
I got it from Domotec - see here:
http://www.domotec.uk.com/roomba/roomba_battery_rapid_charger/10028_p.html
I'll check tonight when I get home what the part number is. |

Yep, it is model 02004. If you think £24 is a lot of money what would you have thought of the £49.99 it was when I bought it :D :D
I have the Roomba Red's - like this one:

Kind of makes the UK price look a bargain :D
It's too cheap, I suspect that they're trying to get rid of old stock and soon you'll not be able to get them at all! |
