HI I am a proud owner of a unit of iRobot Roomba 535.
But i need a 220Vac to 110Vac to make it works in Singapore.
What Wattage of Convertor should i get for best result ? Some site suggest 100W convertor.
Please advise, thanks .... |

| I have a 45watt transformer for my Roomba 535 and a 100w transformer for my Scooba 335. The 45 watt transformer has been running almost non-stop for over 6 months now and it is absolutely fine (as is the 100w after about 1 month). |

My friend gave me a 120W convertor, can it be use on the Roomba 535 ? Is the Wattage too high and might burn the charger ?
Please advise, Thanks.[/img] |

Should be fine. Have been using this exact same model for 2 years, now powering both my Roomba Red AND Scooba 350 together. Rest assured, a higer wattage will not burn out yr 535 power supply.

no problem. I'm using the Super brand but 80W transformers. It's drawing about 34-36W during charging and 5-6W during idling.
however, I personally experienced 2 burnt transformers right after i turned it on. I guess as long as it works initially, it shouldn't break down so easily.
I was thinking of modding my charger in SimLimTower, but seems like transformers is not wasting too much energy though.
nevertheless.....iRobot manual says......it will void the warranty if we were to use any transformers :( |

I currently live in a 220v area and I have a 110v original charger for the roomba. I am more than happy to exchanged it against your 220v charger.
Let me know ! |
