|
|
Hi,
I know that this was asked/discussed few times, but I just received (Finally !!) my Scooba & I've 3 different references & I'm lost ...
On the box I've 340, on the chassis model 33501, on the tank JEN05949061019xxxxxxxx ...
Moreover on the battery no capacity indication, only that'a a 14.4V NiMH and the code 060614 10085 (first is it the manufactured date ? second ?)
So, what scooba model & battery capacity do I received ??
I bought it there: https://www.yonies.com
Price for the 340 is even better than HSN with the discount (185$), perhaps the price difference is explained by the fact that's not exactly a 340 .. :?
I won't be disappointed (too much ..) even if it's a 335/350 (a little bit more if I got a low rate battery though), just want to know what I got ..
Thanks in advance & Ciaooooooooooooo,
Luciano |

Hi,
Another bit of infos (that doesn't shed a lot of light ..).
Found another S/N on the warranty/registration card: JEN335010709xxxxxx
No sticker with the S/N on the chassis as shown on Irobot support site ..
Moreover I think I've understood what's the "code" JEN05949xxx on the tank.
I think it's the S/N of the tank only, 5949 is the item code for the Scooba Replacement Tank (for Scooba 5800), 5921 (for Scooba 380 and 350).
So, in summary seems I've a 335 with a 5800 tank ...
Is it possible for someone that has the "official" 335 and 340 from Costco & HSN to check:
- If you've a sticker on the chassis & what does it shows
- if you've a Model printed on the chassis
- If you've a sticker on the tank & what does it shows
- if your battery shows capacity ( xxx mAh) or not
Thanks in advance & Best Regards,
Luciano |

| I have just been talking to Customer Service about this very S/N issue. Your Scooba model is not the same as the tank number , and the representative assures me that the tank will not carry the number 335 or 5800; it will say 5940, as yours does. |

Thanks for the confirmation on the tank number/SN.
Do you perhaps have a 335 or 340 ?
As I wrote I'd like , if possible, the following infos from 335 and 340 owners:
- If you've a sticker on the chassis near the battery & what does it shows
- if you've a Model printed on the chassis
- if your battery shows capacity ( xxx mAh) or not
I think it could be useful to all people that have doubts on the "mysterious" 335 & 340 ( & to me for my problem  Do I've to shout to the seller or not ..)
Thanks & Ciaoooooooo,

Hi again,
Little update. I post the same question on the Irobot forum & a guy replied that he had the same situation.
Scooba 340 marked on the box but a 335 inside.
So, I'm even more curious to hear from other people that have a 340 (from HSN or other) what did they got.
A box marked 340 with a scooba marked 340 inside or a 335 :?: :?:
Thanks in advance & Ciaoooooooooo,
