|

I've been gleefully playing with my freshly imported Scooba 350, and it's doing a magnificent job of cleaning the floors (I never even knew the kitchen tiles were that colour  ). But I have a question.
The manual suggests that the Scooba will always complete a full 45 minute cycle, use all its cleaning fluid, dry itself out and then stop. However, in my fairly small rooms, it runs for a modest amount of time, plays its "happy robot" sound and turns itself off, leaving the cleaning fluid tank and the waste tank both half full. (The first time I didn't noticed and flushed both tanks out, losing half a dose of valuable Clorox... doh.)
The manual is geared up around the robot completing a full cycle each time and then needing a clean out. However, the robot seems happier stopping when the floor's clean, in which case, is there any problem leaving the tank half full of cleaning fluid until next time I use it?
Thanks, David |

Hello David,
The Scooba will stop early for any of the following:
- No more battery power to continue cleaning
- Run out of cleaning fluid
- Dirty tank is full
- Room is calculated to be "small" for the amount it has already spent cleaning so it "determines" to have cleaned it and stops.
What you can do is either measure your solution to be less in order to just clean your small areas or save the remaining solution inside the tank for the next cleaning session. Just make sure you don't leave it there for more than a couple of days (with the right conditions, mildew may start to set in). Hope this answers your concerns.
