| I run them daily and frequently 3 times a day. Keeps the dust in better control. Dirt Dog runs 3x week, and scooba runs nightly. |

| Roomba runs daily (it's a fantastic and persistent alarm clock) and Scooba runs about once a fortnight. |

| Daily, usually twice a day. Keeps everything under control, and there's nothing like bare feet on freshly fluffed carpet. :P |

| Every other day usually in every room (6 roombas). I sometimes run twice a day if dogs have been in the finished basement. Scooba runs 4 missions 1 or 2 times a week. DD runs every 2 days as I have to move him between unfinished basement and garage. He also did a bang up job on the screened in porch a couple days ago. Wood looks like new after those brushes did their work (better than roomba out there). |

You can use roomba on a deck? |

No, She uses the Dirt Dog on the deck.
I run my 12 little guys 3 times a week, I let them all loose at once. |

Hi Wendy,
I went through them a couple of weeks ago. I’ve been thinking of doing a write up about the rebuild. I got a few pictures of what I found. Just not sure of what the title should be. They were full of pet hair. One had a melted brush motor that took out U11 on the mother board. |

try something like "bullfrog's rebuild of deadbots" :D
we've got a dead one that should be interesting. fairly new 4230, got caught up in unplugged christmas tree's light cord (probably some sort of a sign), and started making grinding sounds, brushes turning in jerky manner. DH/roombatech took 'im apart, found *nothing* out of the ordinary except the hole where the main drive (brushdeck) gear fits in seems a bit bigger, with a lot of play. he greased it up and put it back together, and it ran fine for about 3 missions then did the crunching (very ugly) sound again. we have a set of bearings from vic so if that fixes the problem we'll post that one. DH has to get the right parts for his dremel-like tool. |

Actually I was using Rosie, a roomba, on my screened in porch. She would finish covered in pollen and dust and required a good cleaning/blow out before I could bring her back inside. The dirt dog, Buster, does a better job and I don't have to feel guilty about misusing him! |
