My 1 month old 535 is working fine but nevertheless I've noticed kinda strange behavior:

- after cleaning one room for about 1 hr, Madame Koko is docking on her charging base and the amber light begins flashing;
- after about 1 hr, the light turns green, indicating that the charging has been completed.

Well, this obviously cannot be true because the full charging should be taking, normally, at least 3 hours... so I'm lifting Madame Koko from her base for couple seconds and, after the innevitable "ooh-oh"s, I'm putting her back on the base.
Now, the light is going back to the amber flashing and keeps doing this for the next 2-3 hours when it turns again green and this time, even after removing and puting MK back on the base, remains green showing that the full charge has been completed!

In conclusion, the charging process is overall running good but why the first false indication of completion?
This is always happening!

There is a heat sensor built into the battery which may be getting hot and ending the charge cycle. Once it cools down it may allow charging again. Other than that you could try a reset and recharge. During the initial charge it stores the charge the battery can hold and uses that as a reference I think.

You can see the actual charging data and what your Roomba is doing by reading the captured data posted in the post dealing with using a 4XXX charger on a 5XX model Roomba.
