will the dirt dogs mini bristle brush fit in the normal roomba discovery's beater brush spot? i was thinking of getting a DD mini bristle brush to put in my discovery, figured it might be better?

IMHO unless you want to intentionally burn up your Roomba don't use it on any carpet (maybe on extremely low pile or tightly woven materials).

why would this burn up the roomba? It seems the same size as the beater brush, simply a brush instead of a beater. I figured that might be better as it would combine the dirt dogs pickup ability with the roomba's vaccum. I won't purchase one though if you think it will damage my roomba.

I use my roomba's(one HSN 2.1 discovery and one HSN 535) on tile and low pile carpet.

Bristle brush generates more friction then beater brush. There was a topic on this forum about DirtDog and using it in home.
