| My new 570 (Dusty) took his second mission tonight. He made it into the bathroom and managed to lock himself in there (by closing the door) I let him out then he locked himself in a bedroom. Is this a common thing? Do you have to use a wedge under your doors to keep the bots from closing doors? |

Yep, I use a rubber wedge in the laundry room, but our bedrooms and bathroom doors have the type of door stop that holds the door in the open position so it won't blow shut with the wind or when the Roombas bump against the door. (Also hate to think of the door somehow closing and blocking access the the litter box!!!!!) |

Oh Yeah...it's so dissapointing to come home expecting a house full of clean floors and find you have one very clean bathroom floor!
This brings up the question of what to do about the area behind the doors you wedge open. Depending on my inclination, I either hit that area (and the corners) with the Dustbuster, a 'static' duster or the broom. I must confess I don't do it every time, maybe once a week or so as the mood moves me. |

For those areas that cannot be covered by Roomba, i'll use a cordless vacuum cleaner (Electrolux) to do the job. Works fine for me. :D
