On my first run I experienced some excess water on my Hardwood Floor.
How much water should there be left on the floor ? My Hardwood was pretty we which is not very good for it !!

@Vic: I lost your info on the Scooby Batterie you send me on the other Forum since they turned of there Mesaage function. Would you resend it to me ?

Thanks

snoopy123123, Welcome to RoombaReview!! :D

It depends on a few things why the Scooba might leave more water than usual. First off, you want to make sure the rubber vacuum port and metal filter are seated correctly. When you put on the tank and snap it shut, it should be level/flush with the body. Second, Make sure underneath the rubber squeegees are straight and not wavy. Pull them until they are straight. Third is geographic location. Do you live where it's humid? If so, then there will be more water on the floor. Less humid=quicker evaporation.

Thanks for teh Info,

What do you do with leftover cleaning solution ? Do I have to empty the clean and dirty water tank and rinse it with hot water ? At least this is what the manual says !!

Depending on the run and if you use soft water, there might be some clean solution in the clean tank. I rinse out both tanks with close to hot water and swish it around a few times to make sure to get out the gunk. Then I leave both flaps open and store the tank off of the Scooba between missions so it has a chance to dry out.
