I have a roomba 570
I buy a rootooth bluetooth
But i can not find the 7 pins d type hole to plug in on the surface of the roomba 570
I have seen some one can plug the rootooth directly into the surface of some type of roomba
which type of roomba can plug the rootooth on its surface |

| You can find that connector if you take off your Roomba`s faceplate. |

Hi igors48
from your reply that is mean,Everytime i want to plug the rootooth
I need to remove the faceplate , but under such situation
I could not put the faceplate back
I decide to drill a hole through the faceplate then i could plug the
rootooth direct into the min-d without remove the faceplate
or Anybody have another great idea to resolve the above problem
another problem the roomba "discovery" type have a min-d input
beside the the faceplate
why the 570 type do not have |

I was kind of hoping that iRobot would have a "hackers" faceplate, one with a pre-drilled hole, and maybe some suface for attaching things, like a rootooth.
The 5xx series was a re-design, so they probably did not have any convient way of running the wires back to the main board, if the mini-din was put on the side. |
