This is more to Vic for ways to correct,
I did the bearing mod and replaced the gears at the same time. The large gear fits just a tad loose in the bearing. Just loose enough that the gear tends to turn in the bearing more then turn the bearing inner ring. I tried rubber cement on the inside to make it fit tighter. But after a run the cement all came out and it was slipping again. I was debating using epoxy but I'm not sure that is such a good idea. There is also contact cement which holds better and liquid nails which holds very well. before I start expermenting with glues, what have others done?

Your very best option would be to just purchase additional gears from Chris at RoombaExchange.com You could also experiment with liquid nails and also a good epoxy. You just have to be careful with contact between the moving components of the ball bearing.

Been thinking about it and going to try silicone first. Both silicone and liquid nails expand as they cure but liquid nails is a bit dryer and harder to work with in then layers and small areas.
