We have a remanufactured Roomba Discovery that crapped out on us a month ago - not sure what was wrong and not sure if it's fixable. We ended up replacing it with a brand new 560 that we are really loving!! However, we're not sure what to do with the old Roomba. It has a battery in it, as well as a back up battery. I've called all the e-waste centers in my area and no one seems interested. Any suggestions??

You could post it here in the Buy/Sell/Trade forum as well as list it on ebay.

OH, I don't know. I would feel bad because I'm not sure if it can be repaired - it just kind of stopped charging one day. Do you think anyone would want it?

It's possible that someone may want to buy it for parts to use in another Roomba or even repair it. Lots of folks on this board repair them.

Thanks so much for the suggestion! I will put a post over on the buy/sell/trade board and see what happens! :)

Remember the three Rs!

Repair
Reuse
Recycle

in that order!

I'm sure your sick roomba is repairable in the right hands. Good luck!
