We are Taiwanese doctors. We used that little roomba in our houses more and more often. Some of us even owned two more roomba. We would like to buy airfilter as a group to save shipping. Anyone who is distributor or reseller could contact me. (Need to provide us more reasonable price than Amazon) My name is Roll. I am respsonsible to buy such comsumption components for my colleagues.
Thank a lot for your help. |

Roll, Welcome to RoombaReview!! :D
Some people save by cleaning their air filters in soap and water and let them dry out. They look good as new and work just like brand new.. But, if you still need some, I'm sure you can check out Chris' website called Roomba Exchange. |

Just in case you want to try it, here a "home-made" filter mod:
http://www.roombareview.com/chat/viewtopic.php?t=8432&highlight=filter
Other people tried the same with other materials (CD cover tissue, sweeper, etc.)
I tried the same on my 1st gen roomba clone (filter physically different but principle's the same), works fine, no problem.
Best Regards & Ciaoooooooooo,

Thank you for your answer.
Could the filter retainer be suitable for openning and closing several times? That is, is that filter retainer desgined for such kind of opening?

Don't know, but sincerely I don't think Irobot made it expecially robust with this home-made repair in mind ...
I think their objective is that users consider the filter as consumable & throw it away once used ...

On mine (that I repeat is from a 1st gen roomba clone, don't know your model) is the 4th time I changed the tissue, first time with a sweeper like tissue, then 3 times with a micro airfilter tissue (bought some universal vacuum bags like the guy in the post suggested).
For the moment I've no broken pins, but it's clear that you've to take special care separating the retainer halfs (don't be too rude ..)

| You should be able to save on shipping by directly ordering the number of air filters that you want from iRobot. |
