|
|
The last few times that I ran my Scooba, I had noticed that the Vacuum filter screen had not collected any dust or cat sand deposits.
Today, while at Walmart I picked up a very small gauge bottle brush, yet it has a flexible wire handle approx 10 inches long. I guess that they are used for cleaning aquariums, as they were in the pet supplies dept.
I inserted the brush several inches into the round vacuum port of the Scooba's tank and pulled out a huge clump of hair... similar to a cat's fur ball. Needless to say, the vacuum port is now working properly.
I just thought that I would share this tip if anyone else is having issues with decreased performance of the Scooba's Vacuum feature. |

| Very good tip. I think fraggboy does something similar and some folks even use an air compressor to blow out the tank. |
