Well just took apart the gear box and all looks clean enuff very little of anything in there. cleaned a little debris around the motor shaft. still nothing
guess i will be calling irobot tommorrow. unless anyone has any ideas???

| One other thing to try would be to reset your Roomba buy pressing both the spot and dock buttons down for about 10 seconds and release, listen for the reset tune. |

| Have you cleaned out the bushings - removable spinning brush ends? - yes a dummy question but one I recently realized can cause BIG problems with brushes even before it tears the gears apart. Also, is the string intact? |

| That string control cleaning head position on different floor types. You can see it if you take out cleaning head module. |
