??? how to get 570 to clean differen rooms on different days

call tec suport want to buy a 570 rumba but tec says it will only do 4 rooms or 25 mins run per 24 hr what do i do say if i want to clean say monday do rooms 1-3 tues do 4-7 wed 8-9 how do you make it do this is this possible ?? what do yall do if you can only afford 1 roomba on single story house do you have to move the base ad set up & reprogram every day to do different rooms even with the lighthouses please advise or moms going to buy another up right vacum

Unfortunately, you will probably need more than one Roomba to do this. That is why if you read, so many of us have more than one.

As the C/S agent told you, there are only 7 schedules possible and only one per day. This schedule only tells the Roomba when to leave it's base and go to start cleaning. It will do up to 4 rooms using lighthouses if they adjoin each other.

The Lighthouse technology works sort of like a blocker. You put them down and they allow the Roomba to pass through a beam to clean another area. The area that is cleans is approximately 35 to 40 minutes no matter what size before the beam opens up and lets it through. Other advanced intelligence is not built into Roomba so what you describe would not happen automatically.

Now, you could move your home base and lighthouse placements after the first rooms were done so the next day the schedule would set it off in different rooms but that's the only way your scenario would work I think.

Instead of the more expensive 570 which is the same as the 550 and 560 only has a remote to guide it around or program it (which can be done from the top of the Roomba directly), why don't you get less expensive 535 from HSN, 550 from Costco or 560? Then you could get more than one. (535 can be scheduled but only with the additional remote)

You could also go for the closeout pricing on the previous models 4xxx that are available in many places and online and put those in the other rooms and the 5xx series in your main area.

An additional note. If this is for your Mom to use, make sure you familiarize yourself with the suggested cleaning instructions here and that she is able and willing to do this. It will not last very long if you don't.
