Hi,
Tonight, returning to my home . I found my Roomba 560 completely discharged (out of its base). But when I put on the base, the light does not blink in orange to indicate the load? In fact nothing works: no signs of electrical activity. No light!
How? the day before the battery run 2 hours still running…
Frenchy on line ;) |

A couple of questions.
Did any other electrical appliance in your home have issues? In other words did you have a storm or power surge that cut off the electricity for a moment?
What does the home base look like (lights) with NO Roomba on it? Do you have one green light? If not, move the whole thing to another outlet and see if anything changes.
Have you tried plugging the power cord directly into the side of the 560 instead of the Home Base? If so, does anything change?
Have you removed the bottom cover of the 560 and tried reseating the battery? If you replace the battery, does a little song play right away?
Have you tried doing the demo mode on your 560 with it off the base? Does it work? |

| First check to see that you have power to that outlet. You may have blown a fuse or circuit. I just had an issue with charging/charger with a 500 and I got a 2 blink red light saying the charger had a problem. If the charger doesn't even light, it sounds like a box issue and you should try a plug you know is working. If that isn't the problem, contact irobot as it is still under warranty |

| If you have done all that with no results, you most likely have a defective battery or power circuit and I would get in touch with IRobot for warranty work. |
