Hi There Guys!
Just wondering - has anyone bought a 530 from COSTCO, I was thinking of getting one before the promotion runs out, but I am not sure what the plus is ? Can someone try and sell it to me? I can't see the point!
Also, is this the same one that is going for £219.99 on eBay? It is called the Scheduler.
Thanks

Hello Mark,
The 530 is one of the latest Roomba 'basic' models. It cleans just like the 4000 series but has the 'light touch bumper', 'voice indicator', '500 series cleaning system' and 'self charge system'. It does NOT have the 'light house' and 'scheduling' features. Unless you are getting the 530 for a bargain price I would rather recommend that you get the top of the line 4000 series. |

Right.
How much would you define as a bargain price? I was looking at the one in Costco, is that the same? I says it comes with two virtual walls. Are they the same as lighthouses?
Many Thanks

| A bargan price for the 530 would be $99. Until you move up to at least the 535 none of the lower numbered 5XX models have the Light House capability. |

Costco sells the 550 model scheduler in the USA with the Two LH/VW not a 530 which is entirely different and does not use LH or schedule.
UK pricings and models are different if that's what you are seeing. Also if you are UK, you need the 220V plug which is different of course than ours. |

OK. Just checked out the coscto catalogue. It says in costco.com that it is a Schedular and in the discount book it is a 530. So for £139.99 its a bad buy?

From what others are saying on here from Europe and the UK, at that price it would have to be either the older version Scheduler of some sort or the entry level 530 as you said. Most have said it's quite expensive over there so you'd have to check what it looks like
There is a comparison here:
