I need a 110 V countdown timer that can cut the power to my Scooba's charger (since I have one Roomba hooked up to the same voltage transformer and need that to be on a constant charge, I can't have the 220 V turn off). I tried searching for countdown and timer on eBay, but didn't find what I need. Does anybody have a good idea?

Mastiff, there are several timers at The Home Depot and other hardware stores. I'm not sure what hardware stores are close to you.

I run this one for my heater during the winter. Link

There are a few on eBay when I ran search. Lamp Timer

Hope this helps.

Thanks, Fraggboy, but not many HD in Norway, I'm afraid. Nor Sam's Club or WalMart, for that matter. And lamp timers almost always works with having for instance the same four hours of power on every day, not by counting down from four hours to zero and then stopping until it's activated the next time. Which is what the one you linked to in HD did as well, as far as I could understand.

Edit: Instead of Sam's Club and WalMart, I probably should have said Radio Shack or Circuit City. Even though I'm guessing that what I need may be at any larger supermarket in the US. But in Norway, with 220 V, they are rather impossible to get. I have found one possible on eBay, this one:

Problem is that this is meant to be built into a wall, or something. So I need a box for that.

Yea, I wasn't aware if there were different hardware stores where you live.. Sorry about not fully understanding you. You want a countdown timer when you plug it in, and it stays off until you reset the timer.

EDIT: That timer will work. What you can do is get an electrical enclosure and hide the connectors that way..

Exactly! I'm gonna use it for my industrial grade 220 to 110 V transformer, which I bought with a SharpVision LCD projector around 10 years ago...in Albuquerque! :D I like that city, one of the places I could really enjoy living in the US. We were there in March, and the temperature was perfect for us Norwegians. I think we were the only ones running around in shorts and T-shirts! Lived at the Super-8 motel for a few nights. Pure paradise after a very bad motel in Eden, Texas the night before.

 For the most part we have very mild winters. I only recall one day where it snowed last winter..

Have you been to the Balloon Festival in October? If not, that's a sight to see! Balloon owners all around the World filling the sky with their beautiful designs.. Breathtaking!!

No, I haven't. But that would be fun to see! Here we had snow three times this winter. All of them more than two feet during a few days...

Problem solved. I didn't even need it. With the new LiIon battery from Vic I don't have to watch out anymore! :D
